Teretha Allen Hooker, a Mississippi Delta native and veteran educator with forty-two years of experience across three states, brings a lifetime of insight to her debut nonfiction work. She grew up very close to a mother whose profound love and quiet strength shaped her life. Teretha currently lives with her family in Tennessee.
